After talking, researching, thinking and dreaming of putting a zipper in some of the handbags....I am happy to say it has been done!!! And all because of Celene and her fantastic (authentic) Coach bag that went to NYC with us! First of all, let me say that Coach bags are not my thing. Rarely have I seen one that I even sort of like. However, when we boarded the plane with Celene, she had one of her many Coach bags with her for the trip. I LOVED it immediately. First of all, it did not have all of those silly "C's" all over it, it was a lovely brown suede, with a tiny bit of french blue leather trim. Secondly, I loved the zipper. On closer inspection, I decided that I, too, could incorporate a zipper into LFW bags based on how that one was put together. The bag was shaped similarly to LFWs...all it took
was a morning of creativity and Voile! The first ever zippered LFW Handbag. Here is a picture of the prototype...basic black. Soon they will appear on the website in all the bright pretty spring colors! And we have Celene (and Coach) to thank for it!Have a great day!
